You will teach me how to live a holy life. Being with you will fill me with joy; at your right hand I will find pleasure forever.

Because I have lived right, I will see your face. When I wake up, I will see your likeness and be satisfied.

You protect them by your presence from what people plan against them. You shelter them from evil words.

Happy are the people you choose and invite to stay in your court. We are filled with good things in your house, your holy Temple.

I have entered my garden, my sister, my bride. I have gathered my myrrh with my spice. I have eaten my honeycomb and my honey. I have drunk my wine and my milk. Eat, friends, and drink; yes, drink deeply, lovers.

The Lord All-Powerful will prepare a feast on this mountain for all people. It will be a feast with all the best food and wine, the finest meat and wine.

Even the wild animals will be thankful to me— the wild dogs and owls. They will honor me when I put water in the desert and rivers in the dry land to give water to my people, the ones I chose.

They did not become thirsty when he led them through the deserts. He made water flow from a rock for them. He split the rock, and water flowed out.

The Lord will always lead you. He will satisfy your needs in dry lands and give strength to your bones. You will be like a garden that has much water, like a spring that never runs dry.

They will be so pretty and beautiful. The young men will grow strong on the grain and the young women on new wine.

They are blessed who hunger and thirst after justice, for they will be satisfied.

On the last and most important day of the feast Jesus stood up and said in a loud voice, “Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink.
