Lord, my God, I prayed to you, and you healed me.

“Go back and tell Hezekiah, the leader of my people: ‘This is what the Lord, the God of your ancestor David, says: I have heard your prayer and seen your tears, so I will heal you. Three days from now you will go up to the Temple of the Lord.

Lord, have mercy on me because I am weak. Heal me, Lord, because my bones ache.

He heals the brokenhearted and bandages their wounds.

He said, “You must obey the Lord your God and do what he says is right. If you obey all his commands and keep his rules, I will not bring on you any of the sicknesses I brought on the Egyptians. I am the Lord who heals you.”

But, Lord, I have called out to you for help; every morning I pray to you.

Then Abraham prayed to God, and God healed Abimelech, his wife, and his servant girls so they could have children.

Make me hear sounds of joy and gladness; let the bones you crushed be happy again.

The Lord has taught me a hard lesson, but he did not let me die.

Lord my God, defend me with your justice. Don’t let them laugh at me.

Because I am innocent, you support me and will let me be with you forever.

I praise your greatness, my God the King; I will praise you forever and ever.
