Solomon prepared the inner room at the back of the Temple to keep the Ark of the Agreement with the Lord.

Solomon also built some side rooms against the walls of the main room and the inner room of the Temple. He built rooms all around.

Because of your great love, I can come into your Temple. Because I fear and respect you, I can worship in your holy Temple.

I will praise you as long as I live. I will lift up my hands in prayer to your name.

Get up, cry out in the night, even as the night begins. Pour out your heart like water in prayer to the Lord. Lift up your hands in prayer to him for the life of your children who are fainting with hunger on every street corner.

Even though Daniel knew that the new law had been written, he went to pray in an upstairs room in his house, which had windows that opened toward Jerusalem. Three times each day Daniel would kneel down to pray and thank God, just as he always had done.

Then those men went as a group and found Daniel praying and asking God for help.
