Write these things for the future so that people who are not yet born will praise the Lord.

I will tell about your goodness in the great meeting of your people. Lord, you know my lips are not silent.

Then their children would know them, even their children not yet born. And they would tell their children.

Lord, all the nations you have made will come and worship you. They will honor you.

But it was the Lord who decided to crush him and make him suffer. The Lord made his life a penalty offering, but he will still see his descendants and live a long life. He will complete the things the Lord wants him to do.

The Lord says, “Sing, Jerusalem. You are like a woman who never gave birth to children. Start singing and shout for joy. You never felt the pain of giving birth, but you will have more children than the woman who has a husband.

“Look around you. People are gathering and coming to you. Your sons are coming from far away, and your daughters are coming with them.

The Good News shows how God makes people right with himself—that it begins and ends with faith. As the Scripture says, “But those who are right with God will live by faith.”

Christ had no sin, but God made him become sin so that in Christ we could become right with God.
