The priests and Levites stood up and blessed the people, and God heard them because their prayer reached heaven, his holy home.

The Lord is in his holy temple; the Lord sits on his throne in heaven. He sees what people do; he keeps his eye on them.

So Peter was kept in jail, but the church prayed earnestly to God for him.

Then God’s temple in heaven was opened. The Ark that holds the agreement God gave to his people could be seen in his temple. Then there were flashes of lightning, noises, thunder, an earthquake, and a great hailstorm.
