Then God said, “Let there be something to divide the water in two.”

So God made the air and placed some of the water above the air and some below it.

When Noah was six hundred years old, the flood started. On the seventeenth day of the second month of that year the underground springs split open, and the clouds in the sky poured out rain.

“But, God, can you really live here on the earth? The sky and the highest place in heaven cannot contain you. Surely this house which I have built cannot contain you.

Sing to the one who rides through the skies, which are from long ago. He speaks with a thundering voice.

God will save Jerusalem and rebuild the cities of Judah. Then people will live there and own the land.

I know a man in Christ who was taken up to the third heaven fourteen years ago. I do not know whether the man was in his body or out of his body, but God knows.

The Lord owns the world and everything in it—the heavens, even the highest heavens, are his.
