Tell me in the morning about your love, because I trust you. Show me what I should do, because my prayers go up to you.

Help me understand, so I can keep your teachings, obeying them with all my heart.

You made me and formed me with your hands. Give me understanding so I can learn your commands.

Teach me to do what you want, because you are my God. Let your good Spirit lead me on level ground.

Protect me and save me. I trust you, so do not let me be disgraced.

Lord, teach me your ways, and guide me to do what is right because I have enemies.

His anger lasts only a moment, but his kindness lasts for a lifetime. Crying may last for a night, but joy comes in the morning.

The Lord says, “I will make you wise and show you where to go. I will guide you and watch over you.

The Lord shows his true love every day. At night I have a song, and I pray to my living God.

God is in that city, and so it will not be shaken. God will help her at dawn.

Lord, since I have many enemies, show me the right thing to do. Show me clearly how you want me to live.

But I will sing about your strength. In the morning I will sing about your love. You are my defender, my place of safety in times of trouble.

Give happiness to me, your servant, because I give my life to you, Lord.

Fill us with your love every morning. Then we will sing and rejoice all our lives.

If you go the wrong way—to the right or to the left—you will hear a voice behind you saying, “This is the right way. You should go this way.”

This is what the Lord, who saves you, the Holy One of Israel, says: “I am the Lord your God, who teaches you to do what is good, who leads you in the way you should go.

Let us lift up our hands and pray from our hearts to God in heaven:

and know him. Let’s try to learn about the Lord; he will come to us as surely as the dawn comes. He will come to us like rain, like the spring rain that waters the ground.”
