What if the Lord had not been on our side when we were attacked?

Evil people have surrounded me; like dogs they have trapped me. They have bitten my arms and legs.

Lord, I have many enemies! Many people have turned against me.

Many are saying about me, “God won’t rescue him.”Selah

The wicked watch for good people so that they may kill them.

I praise God for his word to me; I praise the Lord for his word.
