Keep your promise to me, your servant, so you will be respected.

Now, God of Israel, please continue to keep that promise you made to your servant David, my father.

As high as the sky is above the earth, so great is his love for those who respect him.

The Lord has mercy on those who respect him, as a father has mercy on his children.

But the Lord’s love for those who respect him continues forever and ever, and his goodness continues to their grandchildren

Argue my case and save me. Let me live by your promises.

Remember your promise to me, your servant; it gives me hope.

When I suffer, this comforts me: Your promise gives me life.

Comfort me with your love, as you promised me, your servant.

He gives those who respect him what they want. He listens when they cry, and he saves them.

The Lord is pleased with those who respect him, with those who trust his love.

The yes to all of God’s promises is in Christ, and through Christ we say yes to the glory of God.
