Proverbs 8:32

“Now, my children, listen to me, because those who follow my ways are happy.

But Jesus said, “No, blessed are those who hear the teaching of God and obey it.”

Happy are those who respect the Lord and obey him.

Now, my sons, listen to me, and don’t ignore what I say.

Now, my sons, listen to me; pay attention to what I say.

I have followed the ways of the Lord; I have not done evil by turning from my God.

The places of destruction and death say, ‘We have heard reports about it.’

I have followed the ways of the Lord; I have not done evil by turning away from my God.

Happy is the person who finds wisdom, the one who gets understanding.

Where there is no word from God, people are uncontrolled, but those who obey what they have been taught are happy.

As a tree produces fruit, wisdom gives life to those who use it, and everyone who uses it will be happy.
