Don’t make plans to hurt your neighbor who lives nearby and trusts you.

They make evil plans in their hearts and are always starting arguments.

a mind that thinks up evil plans, feet that are quick to do evil,

Look, they are waiting to ambush me. Cruel people attack me, but I have not sinned or done wrong, Lord.

The one who was my friend attacks his friends and breaks his promises.

Their words are not friendly but are lies about peace-loving people.

Those who make evil plans will be ruined, but those who plan to do good will be loved and trusted.

Do not make plans to hurt your neighbors, and don’t love false promises. I hate all these things,” says the Lord.

Don’t hurt widows and orphans, foreigners or the poor; don’t even think of doing evil to somebody else.’
