A foolish person enjoys doing wrong, but a person with understanding enjoys doing what is wise.

Fools don’t care if they sin, but honest people work at being right.

A person without wisdom enjoys being foolish, but someone with understanding does what is right.

Don’t testify against your neighbor for no good reason. Don’t say things that are false.

Also, there must be no evil talk among you, and you must not speak foolishly or tell evil jokes. These things are not right for you. Instead, you should be giving thanks to God.

They have caused many people to suffer, so they themselves will suffer. That is their pay for what they have done. They take pleasure in openly doing evil, so they are like dirty spots and stains among you. They delight in deceiving you while eating meals with you.
