Do you see people who speak too quickly? There is more hope for a foolish person than for them.

Live in peace with each other. Do not be proud, but make friends with those who seem unimportant. Do not think how smart you are.

Rich people may think they are wise, but the poor with understanding will prove them wrong.

You say, ‘I am rich, and I have become wealthy and do not need anything.’ But you do not know that you are really miserable, pitiful, poor, blind, and naked.

The lazy person thinks he is wiser than seven people who give sensible answers.

Do you see people skilled in their work? They will work for kings, not for ordinary people.

Don’t depend on your own wisdom. Respect the Lord and refuse to do wrong.

Jesus said, “If you were blind, you would not be guilty of sin. But since you keep saying you see, your guilt remains.”

Fools think they are doing right, but the wise listen to advice.

Those who trust in themselves are foolish, but those who live wisely will be kept safe.

How terrible it will be for people who think they are wise and believe they are clever.
