The Lord hates those who are proud. They will surely be punished.

Look at the proud and make them humble. Crush the wicked wherever they are.

“You must not use the name of the Lord your God thoughtlessly; the Lord will punish anyone who misuses his name.

Evil people will certainly be punished, but those who do right will be set free.

The Lord makes everything go as he pleases. He has even prepared a day of disaster for evil people.

Love and truth bring forgiveness of sin. By respecting the Lord you will avoid evil.

The same is true if you have sexual relations with another man’s wife. Anyone who does so will be punished.

If you respect the Lord, you will also hate evil. I hate pride and bragging, evil ways and lies.

Proud people will be made humble, and they will bow low with shame. At that time only the Lord will still be praised.

The Lord All-Powerful has a certain day planned when he will punish the proud and those who brag, and they will no longer be important.

But how terrible it will be for the wicked! They will be punished for all the wrong they have done.

Listen and pay attention. Don’t be too proud, because the Lord has spoken to you.

But God gives us even more grace, as the Scripture says, “God is against the proud, but he gives grace to the humble.”
