I will do what you asked. I will give you wisdom and understanding that is greater than anyone has had in the past or will have in the future.

You are more handsome than anyone, and you are an excellent speaker, so God has blessed you forever.

Wise people speak with understanding, but people without wisdom should be punished.

A foolish person enjoys doing wrong, but a person with understanding enjoys doing what is wise.

At that time Jesus said, “I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the people who are wise and smart. But you have shown them to those who are like little children.

All the people spoke well of Jesus and were amazed at the words of grace he spoke. They asked, “Isn’t this Joseph’s son?”

The guards answered, “The words he says are greater than the words of any other person who has ever spoken!”

All the believers have heard that you obey, so I am very happy because of you. But I want you to be wise in what is good and innocent in what is evil.

But the wisdom that comes from God is first of all pure, then peaceful, gentle, and easy to please. This wisdom is always ready to help those who are troubled and to do good for others. It is always fair and honest.
