This is because the Lord takes care of his people, but the wicked will be destroyed.

The Lord does what is right, and he loves justice, so honest people will see his face.

See if there is any bad thing in me. Lead me on the road to everlasting life.

Those people who make fun of you cannot stand before you. You hate all those who do evil.

The person who quits doing what is right will be punished, and the one who hates to be corrected will die.

Whoever tries to live right and be loyal finds life, success, and honor.

Proud looks, proud thoughts, and evil actions are sin.

Guilty people live dishonest lives, but honest people do right.

But the wicked walk around in the dark; they can’t even see what makes them stumble.

If you respect the Lord, you will also hate evil. I hate pride and bragging, evil ways and lies.

The path of life is level for those who are right with God; Lord, you make the way of life smooth for those people.

The Lord says, “Listen to me, those of you who try to live right and follow the Lord. Look at the rock from which you were cut; look at the stone quarry from which you were dug.

“You people who know what is right should listen to me; you people who follow my teachings should hear what I say. Don’t be afraid of the evil things people say, and don’t be upset by their insults.

I sent all my servants, the prophets, to you again and again. By them I said to you, ‘Don’t do this terrible thing that I hate.’

and know him. Let’s try to learn about the Lord; he will come to us as surely as the dawn comes. He will come to us like rain, like the spring rain that waters the ground.”

Your eyes are too good to look at evil; you cannot stand to see those who do wrong. So how can you put up with those evil people? How can you be quiet when the wicked swallow up people who are better than they are?

“Enter through the narrow gate. The gate is wide and the road is wide that leads to hell, and many people enter through that gate.

He will love and bless you. He will make the number of your people grow; he will bless you with children. He will bless your fields with good crops and will give you grain, new wine, and oil. He will bless your herds with calves and your flocks with lambs in the land he promised your ancestors he would give you.

But you, man of God, run away from all those things. Instead, live in the right way, serve God, have faith, love, patience, and gentleness.

But run away from the evil desires of youth. Try hard to live right and to have faith, love, and peace, together with those who trust in the Lord from pure hearts.
