The Lord will curse the evil person’s house, but he will bless the home of those who do right.

Wicked people die and they are no more, but a good person’s family continues.

The Lord All-Powerful says, ‘I will send it to the houses of thieves and to those who use my name to make false promises. The scroll will stay in that person’s house and destroy it with its wood and stones.’ ”

God, who is always right, watches the house of the wicked and brings ruin on every evil person.

You ask about me, ‘Where is this great man’s house? Where are the tents where the wicked live?’

Wise people’s houses are full of the best foods and olive oil, but fools waste everything they have.

Those who trust in riches will be ruined, but a good person will be healthy like a green leaf.

They lean on the spider’s web, but it breaks. They grab it, but it does not hold up.

Your wife will give you many children, like a vine that produces much fruit. Your children will bring you much good, like olive branches that produce many olives.

Surely this is what will happen to the wicked; such is the place of one who does not know God.”

People without God can produce nothing. Fire will destroy the tents of those who take money to do evil,

If you are good and honest, he will stand up for you and bring you back where you belong.

The Lord will tear down the proud person’s house, but he will protect the widow’s property.

Your enemies will be covered with shame, and the tents of the wicked will be gone.”

In a little while the wicked will be no more. You may look for them, but they will be gone.
