A greedy person causes trouble, but the one who trusts the Lord will succeed.

Go watch the ants, you lazy person. Watch what they do and be wise.

We want each of you to go on with the same hard work all your lives so you will surely get what you hope for.

Later they came back to Joshua and said, “There are only a few people in Ai, so we will not need all our people to defeat them. Send only two or three thousand men to fight. There is no need to send all of our people.”
