Then Jesus used this story to teach his followers that they should always pray and never lose hope.

God will always give what is right to his people who cry to him night and day, and he will not be slow to answer them.

If you were a slave when God called you, do not let that bother you. But if you can be free, then make good use of your freedom.

I want you to be free from worry. A man who is not married is busy with the Lord’s work, trying to please the Lord.

And you can help us with your prayers. Then many people will give thanks for us—that God blessed us because of their many prayers.

Always give thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Pray in the Spirit at all times with all kinds of prayers, asking for everything you need. To do this you must always be ready and never give up. Always pray for all God’s people.

Let the peace that Christ gives control your thinking, because you were all called together in one body to have peace. Always be thankful.

Everything you do or say should be done to obey Jesus your Lord. And in all you do, give thanks to God the Father through Jesus.

Continue praying, keeping alert, and always thanking God.
