Be full of joy in the Lord always. I will say again, be full of joy.

I will praise the Lord all my life; I will sing praises to my God as long as I live.

Sing to the Lord, you who do what is right; honest people should praise him.

But I will still be glad in the Lord; I will rejoice in God my Savior.

Rejoice and be glad, because you have a great reward waiting for you in heaven. People did the same evil things to the prophets who lived before you.

My brothers and sisters, be full of joy in the Lord. It is no trouble for me to write the same things to you again, and it will help you to be more ready.

But be happy that you are sharing in Christ’s sufferings so that you will be happy and full of joy when Christ comes again in glory.
