Don’t be afraid of people, who can kill the body but cannot kill the soul. The only one you should fear is the one who can destroy the soul and the body in hell.

“You people who know what is right should listen to me; you people who follow my teachings should hear what I say. Don’t be afraid of the evil things people say, and don’t be upset by their insults.

If we are God’s children, we will receive blessings from God together with Christ. But we must suffer as Christ suffered so that we will have glory as Christ has glory.

So we can be sure when we say, “I will not be afraid, because the Lord is my helper. People can’t do anything to me.”

The Lord says, “I am the one who comforts you. So why should you be afraid of people, who die? Why should you fear people who die like the grass?

“Lord, I wait for your salvation.

“I want you to know that God has also sent his salvation to all nations, and they will listen!” [

Those people honor me who bring me offerings to show thanks. And I, God, will save those who do that.”

When the Helper comes, he will prove to the people of the world the truth about sin, about being right with God, and about judgment.

Jesus said to the man with the crippled hand, “Stand up here in the middle of everyone.”
