Good people take care of their animals, but even the kindest acts of the wicked are cruel.
Fools quickly show that they are upset, but the wise ignore insults.
This is something wrong that happens here on earth: What happens to one happens to all. So people’s minds are full of evil and foolish thoughts while they live. After that, they join the dead.
But the donkey said to Balaam, “I am your very own donkey, which you have ridden for years. Have I ever done this to you before?” “No,” Balaam said.
Out of the mind come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual sins, stealing, lying, and speaking evil of others.
