Matthew 28:10

Then Jesus said to them, “Don’t be afraid. Go and tell my followers to go on to Galilee, and they will see me there.”

But Jesus quickly spoke to them, “Have courage! It is I. Do not be afraid.”

“Then the King will answer, ‘I tell you the truth, anything you did for even the least of my people here, you also did for me.’

“Then the King will answer, ‘I tell you the truth, anything you refused to do for even the least of my people here, you refused to do for me.’

But after I rise from the dead, I will go ahead of you into Galilee.”

The eleven followers went to Galilee to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go.

The angel said to the women, “Don’t be afraid. I know that you are looking for Jesus, who has been crucified.

And go quickly and tell his followers, ‘Jesus has risen from the dead. He is going into Galilee ahead of you, and you will see him there.’ ” Then the angel said, “Now I have told you.”

Suddenly, Jesus met them and said, “Greetings.” The women came up to him, took hold of his feet, and worshiped him.

Now go and tell his followers and Peter, ‘Jesus is going into Galilee ahead of you, and you will see him there as he told you before.’ ”

Jesus said to her, “Don’t hold on to me, because I have not yet gone up to the Father. But go to my brothers and tell them, ‘I am going back to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’ ”

but Jesus said to them, “It is I. Do not be afraid.”

God knew them before he made the world, and he chose them to be like his Son so that Jesus would be the firstborn of many brothers and sisters.

Then the Israelites threw away the foreign gods among them, and they worshiped the Lord again. So he felt sorry for them when he saw their suffering.
