When he came in and stood before his master, Elisha said to him, “Where have you been, Gehazi?” “I didn’t go anywhere,” he answered.

They love people to greet them with respect in the marketplaces, and they love to have people call them ‘Teacher.’

Jesus stood before Pilate the governor, and Pilate asked him, “Are you the king of the Jews?” Jesus answered, “Those are your words.”

They all said, “Then are you the Son of God?” Jesus said to them, “You say that I am.”

Pilate said, “So you are a king!” Jesus answered, “You are the one saying I am a king. This is why I was born and came into the world: to tell people the truth. And everyone who belongs to the truth listens to me.”

Meanwhile, his followers were begging him, “Teacher, eat something.”
