Jesus answered, “Because your faith is too small. I tell you the truth, if your faith is as big as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. All things will be possible for you. [

Then Jesus told another story: “The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed that a man planted in his field.

Jesus said, “Come.” And Peter left the boat and walked on the water to Jesus.

Jesus answered, “You people have no faith, and your lives are all wrong. How long must I put up with you? How long must I continue to be patient with you? Bring the boy here.”

The followers came to Jesus when he was alone and asked, “Why couldn’t we force the demon out?”

As they were coming down the mountain, Jesus commanded them not to tell anyone about what they had seen until the Son of Man had risen from the dead.

Jesus answered, “I tell you the truth, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will be able to do what I did to this tree and even more. You will be able to say to this mountain, ‘Go, fall into the sea.’ And if you have faith, it will happen.

Jesus answered, “Why are you afraid? You don’t have enough faith.” Then Jesus got up and gave a command to the wind and the waves, and it became completely calm.

Jesus answered, “Have faith in God.

I tell you the truth, you can say to this mountain, ‘Go, fall into the sea.’ And if you have no doubts in your mind and believe that what you say will happen, God will do it for you.

The kingdom of God is like a mustard seed, the smallest seed you plant in the ground.

Jesus said to the father, “You said, ‘If you can!’ All things are possible for the one who believes.”

The Lord said, “If your faith were the size of a mustard seed, you could say to this mulberry tree, ‘Dig yourself up and plant yourself in the sea,’ and it would obey you.

Jesus answered, “The things impossible for people are possible for God.”

Then Jesus said to her, “Didn’t I tell you that if you believed you would see the glory of God?”

The same Spirit gives faith to one person. And, to another, that one Spirit gives gifts of healing.

I may have the gift of prophecy. I may understand all the secret things of God and have all knowledge, and I may have faith so great I can move mountains. But even with all these things, if I do not have love, then I am nothing.

So we see they were not allowed to enter and have God’s rest, because they did not believe.
