While they watched, Jesus’ appearance was changed; his face became bright like the sun, and his clothes became white as light.

Who is that young woman that shines out like the dawn? She is as pretty as the moon, as bright as the sun, as wonderful as an army flying flags.

Six days later, Jesus took Peter, James, and John, the brother of James, up on a high mountain by themselves.

Then Moses and Elijah appeared to them, talking with Jesus.

He was shining as bright as lightning, and his clothes were white as snow.

His clothes became shining white, whiter than any person could make them.

While Jesus was praying, the appearance of his face changed, and his clothes became shining white.

The Word became a human and lived among us. We saw his glory—the glory that belongs to the only Son of the Father—and he was full of grace and truth.

“Father, I want these people that you gave me to be with me where I am. I want them to see my glory, which you gave me because you loved me before the world was made.

Do not be shaped by this world; instead be changed within by a new way of thinking. Then you will be able to decide what God wants for you; you will know what is good and pleasing to him and what is perfect.

Then I saw another powerful angel coming down from heaven dressed in a cloud with a rainbow over his head. His face was like the sun, and his legs were like pillars of fire.

Then I saw a great white throne and the One who was sitting on it. Earth and sky ran away from him and disappeared.
