Six days later, Jesus took Peter, James, and John, the brother of James, up on a high mountain by themselves.
While they watched, Jesus’ appearance was changed; his face became bright like the sun, and his clothes became white as light.
He took Peter and the two sons of Zebedee with him, and he began to be very sad and troubled.
Later, as Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, opposite the Temple, he was alone with Peter, James, John, and Andrew. They asked Jesus,
Jesus let only Peter, James, and John the brother of James go with him.
When Jesus went to the house, he let only Peter, John, James, and the girl’s father and mother go inside with him.
