When it was evening, his followers came to him and said, “No one lives in this place, and it is already late. Send the people away so they can go to the towns and buy food for themselves.”

Jesus went everywhere in Galilee, teaching in the synagogues, preaching the Good News about the kingdom of heaven, and healing all the people’s diseases and sicknesses.

When he saw the crowds, he felt sorry for them because they were hurting and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.

Since he himself is weak, he is able to be gentle with those who do not understand and who are doing wrong things.
