But Jesus warned the people not to tell who he was.
He did these things to bring about what Isaiah the prophet had said:
As they were coming down the mountain, Jesus commanded them not to tell anyone about what they had seen until the Son of Man had risen from the dead.
Then Jesus said to him, “Don’t tell anyone about this. But go and show yourself to the priest and offer the gift Moses commanded for people who are made well. This will show the people what I have done.”
Then the men were able to see. But Jesus warned them strongly, saying, “Don’t tell anyone about this.”
Jesus left with his followers for the lake, and a large crowd from Galilee followed him.
Jesus commanded the people not to tell anyone about what happened. But the more he commanded them, the more they told about it.
