Jesus left that place and went to the area around Tyre. When he went into a house, he did not want anyone to know he was there, but he could not stay hidden.

Canaan was the father of Sidon, his first son, and of Heth.

Their land reached from Sidon to Gerar as far as Gaza, and then to Sodom, Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboiim, as far as Lasha.

“Zebulun will live near the sea. His shore will be a safe place for ships, and his land will reach as far as Sidon.

He said, “Sidon, you will not rejoice any longer, because you are destroyed. Even if you cross the sea to Cyprus, you will not find a place to rest.”

He will not cry out or yell or speak loudly in the streets.

“Human, say to the ruler of Tyre: ‘This is what the Lord God says: Because you are proud, you say, “I am a god. I sit on the throne of a god in the middle of the seas.” You think you are as wise as a god, but you are a human, not a god.

He said, “How terrible for you, Korazin! How terrible for you, Bethsaida! If the same miracles I did in you had happened in Tyre and Sidon, those people would have changed their lives a long time ago. They would have worn rough cloth and put ashes on themselves to show they had changed.

After Jesus went inside, the blind men went with him. He asked the men, “Do you believe that I can make you see again?” They answered, “Yes, Lord.”

A few days later, when Jesus came back to Capernaum, the news spread that he was at home.

All these evil things come from inside and make people unclean.”

A woman whose daughter had an evil spirit in her heard that he was there. So she quickly came to Jesus and fell at his feet.

Then Jesus left the area around Tyre and went through Sidon to Lake Galilee, to the area of the Ten Towns.

So also good deeds are easy to see, but even those that are not easily seen cannot stay hidden.
