Then Jesus went home, but again a crowd gathered. There were so many people that Jesus and his followers could not eat.

The man left there, but he began to tell everyone that Jesus had healed him, and so he spread the news about Jesus. As a result, Jesus could not enter a town if people saw him. He stayed in places where nobody lived, but people came to him from everywhere.

A few days later, when Jesus came back to Capernaum, the news spread that he was at home.

and Judas Iscariot, who later turned against Jesus.

Jesus left with his followers for the lake, and a large crowd from Galilee followed him.

When Jesus saw the crowds, he told his followers to get a boat ready for him to keep people from crowding against him.

Crowds of people were coming and going so that Jesus and his followers did not even have time to eat. He said to them, “Come away by yourselves, and we will go to a lonely place to get some rest.”

When Jesus left the people and went into the house, his followers asked him about this story.

When Jesus went into the house, his followers began asking him privately, “Why couldn’t we force that evil spirit out?”

Jesus and the apostles came down from the mountain, and he stood on level ground. A large group of his followers was there, as well as many people from all around Judea, Jerusalem, and the seacoast cities of Tyre and Sidon.
