They shouted, “Crucify him!”
Then Pilate asked the crowd again, “So what should I do with this man you call the king of the Jews?”
Pilate asked, “Why? What wrong has he done?” But they shouted even louder, “Crucify him!”
But they shouted again, “Crucify him! Crucify him!”
They could not find any real reason for Jesus to be put to death, but they asked Pilate to have him killed.
