Later, in the house, his followers asked Jesus again about the question of divorce.
He answered, “Anyone who divorces his wife and marries another woman is guilty of adultery against her.
God has joined the two together, so no one should separate them.”
Later, when Jesus was alone, the twelve apostles and others around him asked him about the stories.
When Jesus went into the house, his followers began asking him privately, “Why couldn’t we force that evil spirit out?”
Jesus and his followers went to Capernaum. When they went into a house there, he asked them, “What were you arguing about on the road?”
