What can I give the Lord for all the good things he has given to me?

Many women who had followed Jesus from Galilee to help him were standing at a distance from the cross, watching.

Simon’s mother-in-law was sick in bed with a fever, and the people told Jesus about her.

That evening, after the sun went down, the people brought to Jesus all who were sick and had demons in them.

These women had followed Jesus in Galilee and helped him. Many other women were also there who had come with Jesus to Jerusalem.

Taking hold of the girl’s hand, he said to her, “Talitha, koum!” (This means, “Young girl, I tell you to stand up!”)

He gave her his hand and helped her up. Then he called the saints and the widows into the room and showed them that Tabitha was alive.
