Then Jesus asked, “But who do you say I am?” Peter answered, “You are the Christ from God.”

“What do you think about the Christ? Whose son is he?” They answered, “The Christ is the Son of David.”

But Jesus said nothing. Again the high priest said to Jesus, “I command you by the power of the living God: Tell us if you are the Christ, the Son of God.”

And if you are nice only to your friends, you are no better than other people. Even those who don’t know God are nice to their friends.

But Jesus said nothing; he did not answer. The high priest asked Jesus another question: “Are you the Christ, the Son of the blessed God?”

Then Jesus asked, “But who do you say I am?” Peter answered, “You are the Christ.”

They said, “If you are the Christ, tell us.” Jesus said to them, “If I tell you, you will not believe me.

They answered, “Some say you are John the Baptist. Others say you are Elijah. And others say you are one of the prophets from long ago who has come back to life.”

The first thing Andrew did was to find his brother Simon and say to him, “We have found the Messiah.” (“Messiah” means “Christ.”)

Then Nathanael said to Jesus, “Teacher, you are the Son of God; you are the King of Israel.”

Martha answered, “Yes, Lord. I believe that you are the Christ, the Son of God, the One coming to the world.”

But these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God. Then, by believing, you may have life through his name.

“Come and see a man who told me everything I ever did. Do you think he might be the Christ?”

They said to the woman, “First we believed in Jesus because of what you said, but now we believe because we heard him ourselves. We know that this man really is the Savior of the world.”

Others said, “He is the Christ.” Still others said, “The Christ will not come from Galilee.

He explained and proved that the Christ must die and then rise from the dead. He said, “This Jesus I am telling you about is the Christ.”

While they were traveling down the road, they came to some water. The officer said, “Look, here is water. What is stopping me from being baptized?” [

But Saul grew more powerful. His proofs that Jesus is the Christ were so strong that his own people in Damascus could not argue with him.

Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is God’s child, and whoever loves the Father also loves the Father’s children.
