John’s clothes were made from camel’s hair, and he wore a leather belt around his waist. For food, he ate locusts and wild honey.

But I tell you that even Solomon with his riches was not dressed as beautifully as one of these flowers.

Jesus said, “There was a rich man who always dressed in the finest clothes and lived in luxury every day.

When John’s followers left, Jesus began talking to the people about John: “What did you go out into the desert to see? A reed blown by the wind?

But what did you go out to see? A prophet? Yes, and I tell you, John is more than a prophet.
