Jesus looked around at all of them and said to the man, “Hold out your hand.” The man held out his hand, and it was healed.

Then the king said to the man of God, “Please pray to the Lord your God for me, and ask him to heal my arm.” So the man of God prayed to the Lord, and the king’s arm was healed, becoming as it was before.

God gave the command and healed them, so they were saved from dying.

Jesus was angry as he looked at the people, and he felt very sad because they were stubborn. Then he said to the man, “Hold out your hand.” The man held out his hand and it was healed.

But the Pharisees and the teachers of the law were very angry and discussed with each other what they could do to Jesus.

Then Jesus said to them, “I ask you, which is lawful on the Sabbath day: to do good or to do evil, to save a life or to destroy it?”

Then Jesus said, “Stand up. Pick up your mat and walk.”
