When the fishermen did as Jesus told them, they caught so many fish that the nets began to break.
Plant early in the morning, and work until evening, because you don’t know if this or that will succeed. They might both do well.
They called to their partners in the other boat to come and help them. They came and filled both boats so full that they were almost sinking.
Then those people who accepted what Peter said were baptized. About three thousand people were added to the number of believers that day.
But many of those who had heard Peter and John preach believed the things they said. There were now about five thousand in the group of believers.
So my dear brothers and sisters, stand strong. Do not let anything move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your work in the Lord is never wasted.
We must not become tired of doing good. We will receive our harvest of eternal life at the right time if we do not give up.
