Even your parents, brothers, relatives, and friends will turn against you, and they will kill some of you.

Even your own brothers and members of your own family are making plans against you. They are crying out against you. Don’t trust them, even when they say nice things to you!

“Watch out for your friends, and don’t trust your own relatives, because every relative is a cheater, and every friend tells lies about you.

“Brothers will give their own brothers to be killed, and fathers will give their own children to be killed. Children will fight against their own parents and have them put to death.

“Brothers will give their own brothers to be killed, and fathers will give their own children to be killed. Children will fight against their own parents and cause them to be put to death.

They will be divided: father against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against mother, mother-in-law against daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against mother-in-law.”

I will give you the wisdom to say things that none of your enemies will be able to stand against or prove wrong.
