“The king said to the men who were standing by, ‘Take the coin away from this servant and give it to the servant who earned ten coins.’
“But God said to him, ‘Foolish man! Tonight your life will be taken from you. So who will get those things you have prepared for yourself?’
So he called the manager in and said to him, ‘What is this I hear about you? Give me a report of what you have done with my money, because you can’t be my manager any longer.’
So he called ten of his servants and gave a coin to each servant. He said, ‘Do business with this money until I get back.’
Why then didn’t you put my money in the bank? Then when I came back, my money would have earned some interest.’
They said, ‘But sir, that servant already has ten coins.’
