Hate evil and love good; be fair in the courts. Maybe the Lord God All-Powerful will be kind to the people of Joseph who are left alive.

But every person and animal should be covered with rough cloth, and people should cry loudly to God. Everyone must turn away from evil living and stop doing harm all the time.

Who knows? Maybe God will change his mind. Maybe he will stop being angry, and then we will not die.

But he said, “Why are you crying and making me so sad? I am not only ready to be tied up in Jerusalem, I am ready to die for the Lord Jesus!”

Do this because we live in an important time. It is now time for you to wake up from your sleep, because our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed.

and everything that is made easy to see can become light. This is why it is said: “Wake up, sleeper! Rise from death, and Christ will shine on you.”
