You don’t know where the wind will blow, and you don’t know how a baby grows inside the mother. In the same way, you don’t know what God is doing, or how he created everything.

Then the officers asked Baruch, “Tell us, please, where did you get all these words you wrote on the scroll? Did you write down what Jeremiah said to you?”

Night and day, whether the person is asleep or awake, the seed still grows, but the person does not know how it grows.

Nicodemus asked, “How can this happen?”

After this, Jesus went across Lake Galilee (or, Lake Tiberias).

He answered, “The man named Jesus made some mud and put it on my eyes. Then he told me to go to Siloam and wash. So I went and washed, and then I could see.”

So now the Pharisees asked the man, “How did you get your sight?” He answered, “He put mud on my eyes, I washed, and now I see.”

But we don’t know how he can now see. We don’t know who opened his eyes. Ask him. He is old enough to speak for himself.”

They asked, “What did he do to you? How did he make you see again?”

Some said, “He is the one,” but others said, “No, he only looks like him.” The man himself said, “I am the man.”

But someone may ask, “How are the dead raised? What kind of body will they have?”
