Anyone who heard me spoke well of me, and those who saw me praised me,

I chose the way for them and was their leader. I lived like a king among his army, like a person who comforts sad people.

Think about the many people you have taught and the weak hands you have made strong.

But now trouble comes to you, and you are discouraged; trouble hits you, and you are terrified.

The Lord helps those who have been defeated and takes care of those who are in trouble.

Careless words stab like a sword, but wise words bring healing.

The right word spoken at the right time is as beautiful as gold apples in a silver bowl.

The Lord God gave me the ability to teach so that I know what to say to make the weak strong. Every morning he wakes me. He teaches me to listen like a student.

King Belshazzar was very frightened. His face turned white, his knees knocked together, and he could not stand up because his legs were too weak.

But now you should forgive him and comfort him to keep him from having too much sadness and giving up completely.

But God, who comforts those who are troubled, comforted us when Titus came.

We ask you, brothers and sisters, to warn those who do not work. Encourage the people who are afraid. Help those who are weak. Be patient with everyone.

You have become weak, so make yourselves strong again.
