Is the comfort God gives you not enough for you, even when words are spoken gently to you?

Accept teaching from his mouth, and keep his words in your heart.

“But he is the only God. Who can come against him? He does anything he wants.

You said, ‘I am pure and without sin; I am innocent and free from guilt.

Then I would have this comfort and be glad even in this unending pain, because I would know I did not reject the words of the Holy One.

As newborn babies want milk, you should want the pure and simple teaching. By it you can mature in your salvation,

These enemies of Christ were in our fellowship, but they left us. They never really belonged to us; if they had been a part of us, they would have stayed with us. But they left, and this shows that none of them really belonged to us.
