This is what God plans for evil people; this is what he has decided they will receive.”

Surely this is what will happen to the wicked; such is the place of one who does not know God.”

Then Job answered:

On the day of God’s anger and punishment, it is the wicked who are spared.

‘Surely our enemies are destroyed, and fire burns up their wealth.’

“Here is what God has planned for evil people, and what the Almighty will give to cruel people:

This is what will happen to you; this is your part in my plans,” says the Lord. “Because you forgot me and trusted in false gods,

Both bad and good things come by the command of the Most High God.

Then the master will cut him in pieces and send him away to be with the hypocrites, where people will cry and grind their teeth with pain.
