Then Zophar the Naamathite answered:
you should be afraid of the sword yourselves. God’s anger will bring punishment by the sword. Then you will know there is judgment.”
Now Job had three friends: Eliphaz the Temanite, Bildad the Shuhite, and Zophar the Naamathite. When these friends heard about Job’s troubles, they agreed to meet and visit him. They wanted to show their concern and to comfort him.
“My troubled thoughts cause me to answer, because I am very upset.
So Eliphaz the Temanite, Bildad the Shuhite, and Zophar the Naamathite did as the Lord said, and the Lord listened to Job’s prayer.
