Old people with gray hair are on our side; they are even older than your father.

“Listen to me, and I will tell you about it; I will tell you what I have seen.

“You know how it has been for a long time, ever since people were first put on the earth.

“Ask old people; find out what their ancestors learned,

Even though I am old and gray, do not leave me, God. I will tell the children about your power; I will tell those who live after me about your might.

The people who are alive are the ones who praise you. They praise you as I praise you today. A father should tell his children that you provide help.
