Some people had wandered in the desert lands. They found no city in which to live.

They sin by what they say; they sin with their words. They curse and tell lies, so let their pride trap them.

This is a message about Egypt: Look, the Lord is coming on a fast cloud to enter Egypt. The idols of Egypt will tremble before him, and Egypt’s courage will melt away.

Immediately the words came true. Nebuchadnezzar was forced to go away from people, and he began eating grass like an ox. He became wet from dew. His hair grew long like the feathers of an eagle, and his nails grew like the claws of a bird.

Israel has become like a pigeon— easy to fool and stupid. First they call to Egypt for help. Then they run to Assyria.
