Your lies do not make people quiet; people should correct you when you make fun of God.
Those who laugh at me surround me; I watch them insult me.
They said to you, “In the last times there will be people who laugh about God, following their own evil desires which are against God.”
Speak the truth so that you cannot be criticized. Then those who are against you will be ashamed because there is nothing bad to say about us.
If some people do not obey what we tell you in this letter, then take note of them. Have nothing to do with them so they will feel ashamed.
I never sat with the crowd as they laughed and had fun. I sat by myself, because you were there, and you filled me with anger at the evil around me.
Cover them with shame. Then people will look for you, Lord.
They made fun of me and were cruel to me and ground their teeth at me in anger.
There is no other man like Job; he takes insults as if he were drinking water.
If this is not true, who can prove I am wrong? Who can show that my words are worth nothing?”
Be patient while I speak. After I have finished, you may continue to make fun of me.
You will not do well if he examines you; you cannot fool God as you might fool humans.
But you smear me with lies. You are worthless doctors, all of you!
My friends all laugh at me when I call on God and expect him to answer me; they laugh at me even though I am right and innocent!
