“So now I will again tell what I have against you,” says the Lord. “And I will tell what I have against your grandchildren.

He calls to the sky above and to the earth that he might judge his people.

You must not worship or serve any idol, because I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God. If you hate me, I will punish your children, and even your grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The Lord takes his place in court and stands to judge the people.

But you should remind me. Let’s meet and decide what is right. Tell what you have done and show you are right.

“Why do you complain to me? All of you have turned against me,” says the Lord.

Mountains, listen to the Lord’s legal case. Foundations of the earth, listen. The Lord has a legal case against his people, and he will accuse Israel.”
